Megas Mod

The Megas Mod is a Pilot G3-based pen mod by Megas. It combines a G3 front, a Hyper Jell cap, and several layered grip sections.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Zebra Hyper Jell (cap and grip)
• 1 Pilot G3 (metal tip and body)
• 1 Pentel HGG (tip and grip)
• 1 Pen REX grip
• 1 Jimnie Jell, HGG, or RSVP grip
• 1 Spinz Ronin, Signo, or Color Gel tip

Text tutorial

1. Cut three rings from the Jimnie Jell grip and three from the Pen REX grip.
2. Remove the G3 grip and file down the front bump and small squares. Screw the Signo-type tip over the G3 tip.
3. The front grip sequence is Pen REX ring / Jimnie Jell / RSVP / HGG, followed by a Jimnie Jell ring and HGG grip. Whether the slash-separated group denotes alternatives or a combined stack is unclear in the original instructions. Three Jimnie Jell rings and three Pen REX rings are used in total.
4. Push the screw mechanism or a nail into the HGG tip.
5. Arrange the rear components in this order: HGG tip, the remaining Jimnie Jell grip, Pen REX stripe / Jimnie Jell / RSVP / HGG, then a Jimnie Jell stripe. The slash-separated grip group is ambiguous here too, and the cut lengths are unspecified. Fit the Hyper Jell cap over the rear.
