Limit G3 Mod

The Limit G3 Mod is a Pilot G3-based pen mod by LIMIT that leaves the G3 barrel uncut.

Construction

Parts needed

• 2 Pilot G3 (two tips and one barrel)
• 1 Uni-ball Signo DX grip
• 1 Sailor Gel Wave tip (compatible Sailor/Gel Wave variants can be substituted)
• 1 Zebra Hyper Jell (cap and grip)
• 1 Zebra Airfit metal ring
• 1 Anyball, SGM, or Profile grip
• 1 insert (placement unspecified)

Text tutorial

1. Leave the G3 barrel uncut. Remove its backplug and wrap the rear with tape as shown in the illustrated tutorial. The exact placement of the insert is unspecified.
2. Prepare the weighted end assembly from the G3 and Sailor/Gel Wave tips, Signo DX grip, Airfit ring, Anyball-style grip, and Hyper Jell cap.
3. Fit the Hyper Jell cap over the prepared barrel end. Use the annotated image below to position the grip rings and metal ring.
