Leku’s HGG Mod

Leku’s HGG Mod is a single-sided mod by Lekunga, measuring 20 cm and weighing 14 g. Hybria made the blue variation pictured below.

Construction

Parts needed

• 4 Hybrid Gel Grip pens (tips, two grips, backcap and one barrel)
• 1 Pilot G-2 (rear body and grip)
• Tape

Text tutorial

1. Remove the retractable mechanism, clip and retaining ring from the rear of a G-2 body. Cut 6.3 cm from its back and file the edge.
2. Add an HGG tip over the tip on an HGG body.
3. Replace the original HGG grip with HGG grip sections totaling about 5 cm. Add the remaining HGG grip and the G-2 grip over the end.
4. Join two HGG tips, tape them to an HGG backcap, and insert this assembly into the rear of the G-2 body. Use the G-2 grip to cover the join.
5. Add inserts and join the body sections.
