Lakubo G4

Lakubo G4 is a light, retractable, single-sided mod by Hastings, measuring 19.5 cm.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Uni Lakubo (barrel and grip)
• 2 Pilot G-2 pens (barrel sections and clickers)
• 2 Hybrid Gel Grip tips
• 1 Hybrid Gel Grip or RSVP barrel section (extension)
• 1 HGG ink tube (connector)

Text tutorial

1. Cut both G-2 bodies to 5.25 cm and file the edges. Check that the sections work with the HGG tips.
2. File down the front of the Lakubo, including the undergrip area. Place the first G-2 body over the prepared front and put an insert between the two pen sections. Fit one HGG tip onto the Lakubo front.

3. Add an insert inside the Lakubo body. Wrap tape over the first G-2 clicker.

4. Choose an HGG barrel section cut to 4.7 cm (preferred) or an RSVP barrel section cut to 4.2 cm. Fit the retractable system into the rear of the Lakubo/G-2 assembly.

5. File the bump between the chosen extension's tip and its undergrip. Wrap tape around the HGG ink tube and use it to connect the extension body.

6. Wrap the Lakubo threads with tape. Add an insert through the assembly, then fit the second cut G-2 section and second HGG tip. The HGG body extension can attach directly.
