Key3 G3 Mod

The Key3 G3 Mod is a single-sided mod by Key3, measuring 20 cm and weighing 14 g. It combines a Pilot G-3 barrel with a Hyper Jell cap and stacked tips.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Pilot G-3 (barrel, plastic tip and grip)
• 1 Uni-ball Signo DX (tip and grip)
• 2 Hybrid Gel Grip tips
• 1 Zebra Hyper Jell (cap and grip)
• 1 Zebra Tapliclip (grip)

Text tutorial

1. Remove the G-3 grip and file the barrel bump and small squares.
2. Stack the front parts in this order: HGG tip, G-3 plastic tip, then Signo DX tip.

3. Fit the G-3 grip over the tip stack. Add a 1 cm G-3 grip section to cover the HGG tip, then add 1 cm of Hyper Jell grip followed by the full Signo grip.

4. Remove the Hyper Jell cap clip. Put the second HGG tip and Tapliclip grip into the cap.
5. Add adhesive tape to the back of the G-3 body, add an insert, and fit the cap assembly.
