KAZU Playcolor

The KAZU Playcolor is a double-sided mod created by KAZU, built around a Tombow Playcolor 2 barrel and decorated G-3 caps.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Tombow Playcolor 2 (barrel; a second may be used for visual symmetry)
• 2 Uni-ball Signo tips
• 2 Pilot Dr. Grip G-Spec tips
• Pilot Dr. Grip grip material
• 4 one-block Anyball sections and 2 two-block Anyball sections
• Hybrid Fine grip
• 2 Pilot Airfit metal rings
• 2 Pilot G-3 caps

Text tutorial

1. Remove the clips from the G-3 caps and cut off the raised bumps.
2. Insert a Signo tip into each G-3 cap, followed by a Dr. Grip G-Spec tip.
3. Cut two 4 mm sections of Hybrid Fine grip and place one on each Playcolor 2 cap.
4. Fit a G-3 cap over each small Playcolor 2 cap; remove the clip from the large Playcolor 2 cap.
5. On each G-3 cap, place one Anyball block, about 5 mm of Dr. Grip, then two Anyball blocks.
6. On each Playcolor 2 cap, place an Airfit metal ring followed by one Anyball block. Repeat on the other side and double-cap the Playcolor 2 barrel.
