Iroziro G3 mod

The Iroziro G3 mod is a single-sided mod by Iroziro, built around a Pilot G-3 barrel. It measures 19 cm and has a medium weight.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Pilot G-3 (barrel and plastic tip)
• 1 Zebra D1-K (grip)
• 2 Hybrid Gel Grip pens (tips and grips)
• 1 Hybrid Gel Roller (HGR) (tip)
• 1 Pilot AirBlanc (grip)
• Anyball grip material

Text tutorial

1. Remove the G-3 ink tube and grip. Sand the barrel squares and front smooth.
2. Cut three D1-K grip stripes and place them at the front of the barrel as shown below.

3. Attach two HGG tips to the G-3 plastic tip; glue may be used to hold them together. Cover the tips with HGG grip and add the AirBlanc grip above it. Anyball stripes can be placed between sections of AirBlanc grip.

4. Cut the G-3 grip vertically for use in the rear assembly. Remove the clip from the G-3 cap and place an HGR tip inside it.

5. Add suitable grip sections to the top of the cap to adjust the center of gravity. Add an insert to the barrel and electrical tape at the rear to retain the cap.
