Four G3

Four G3 is a single-sided Pilot G3 mod by Four. Its front tip stack is paired with a modified Uni-ball Vision Elite cap.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1x Pilot G3, plastic version (barrel and tip)
• 1x Zebra Jimknock (grip; Hyper Jell or Jimnie grip can substitute)
• 2x Pilot Hi-Tec-C (tips)
• 1x Uni-ball Signo (tip)
• 1x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (grip and tip)
• 1x Uni-ball Vision Elite (cap)

Text tutorial

1. Remove the G3 grip and sand down the square ridges and front of the barrel.
2. Disassemble the Vision Elite cap, removing its top portion, white inner piece and spring; cut off the metal clip.
3. Cut a 1 cm section of Jimknock grip and fit it over the front of the G3.
4. Stack the tips at the front in this order: plastic G3 tip, Signo tip, then Hi-Tec-C tip. Cover the stack with HGG grip.
5. Insert the HGG tip into the clip-side section of the Vision Elite cap. Add the remaining Hi-Tec-C tip and Jimknock grip inside the cap.
6. Reassemble the cap, add an insert to the G3 barrel, and attach the cap.
