Flash G3 Mod

The Flash G3 Mod is a single-sided Pilot G3 mod by Flash. It uses a Hyper Jell ink tube and grip, a G1 tip, two Signo tips, and an HGG grip.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1x Zebra Hyper Jell (ink tube, cap and grip)
• 1x Pilot G3 (body)
• 2x Uni-ball Signo (tips)
• 1x Pilot G1 (tip)
• 1x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (grip)
• 1x additional grip piece (for the cap)

Text tutorial

1. Cut the Hyper Jell grip as for a Japanese G3 mod. Add tape to the front of the Hyper Jell ink tube and put the tube into the G3 body.
2. Screw the G1 tip onto the front of the G3 body.
3. Fit a Signo tip over the G1 tip, securing it with tape.
4. Cover the front tip stack with the HGG grip.
5. Put tape around the base of the Signo tip. Fit that assembly into the G3 cap, followed by the Hyper Jell grip.
6. Put the cap assembly on the back of the G3 body.
