Buster CYL rétractable

Buster CYL rétractable is a retractable version of Buster CYL by Vôre-Tèx, built around a click mechanism housed inside a Crayola SuperTips barrel.

Construction

Parts needed

• 2 Zebra Airfit pens (2 tips and 1 grip; cut the grip in half)
• 2 Dong-A caps (one hollowed; keep the other intact)
• 1 Crayola SuperTips barrel
• 1 Bic Ecolution RT or Bic Clic Stic RT (body, ink tube and clicker)
• 1 Flexgrip Ultra or Zebra Airfit ink tube
• 1 Zebra Airfit spring
• Tape

Text tutorial

1. Empty one Dong-A cap. Cut the single Airfit grip in half and put the grip halves and Airfit tips on the Dong-A caps.
2. Cut the rear of the Bic Clic Stic body so it fits into the other Dong-A cap, which remains un-hollowed.

3. Tape the black tip of the clicker knob and tape the tip end of the Bic body. Match the tape color to the mod: white tape for a white mod and black tape for a black mod.

4. Empty the Crayola SuperTips body and remove its cap and nib. Push the prepared Bic body into the rear of the SuperTips body. Fit it so the Bic body cannot move toward the writing end and the click mechanism stays inside the SuperTips body when the Dong-A cap is removed.
5. Extend the Flexgrip Ultra or Airfit ink tube to 15 cm by joining it to a piece of the Bic ink tube with tape.

6. Put the 15 cm tube and Airfit spring into the SuperTips body. Place the hollowed Dong-A cap at the front of the SuperTips body, then fit the remaining Dong-A cap over the rear.
