Energel ST v2

The Energel ST v2 is a long mod designed to help with performing Power Tricks.

The tutorial for the mod was published by i.suk in March 2018 and it has since enjoyed widespread popularity for its straightforward construction and practical spinning characteristics.

Construction

• 1x Supertip (barrel)
• 2x Energel (barrels)
• 1x Dr. Grip (grip)
• 2x Signo (tips)
• 1x Comssa (backplug)

Text tutorial

1. Cut both patterned Energel barrel sections to 6.3 cm, retaining the threaded end shown. The source specifies that these sleeves give a finished length of 23.7 cm.
   

   

   
   
   

   

   
   
2. Empty the SuperTips barrel and remove its backplug. Fit a Comssa backplug into the rear opening.
   

   

   
   
3. Sand the Comssa backplug slightly until an Energel sleeve fits over it securely. Add tape around the front of the SuperTips barrel to secure the other sleeve.
4. Cut one Dr. Grip grip in half and fit one half over each Energel sleeve.
5. Wrap tape around each Signo tip until it fits tightly inside the Energel sleeve. Insert the tips in reverse, with their points facing inward, beneath the Dr. Grip halves.
   

   

   
   
6. Attach the completed Energel end assemblies to both ends of the SuperTips barrel.
