R³

The R³ is a double-sided mod made by VNPS spinner Akai. The name "R³" is a way to abbreviate "Red Round Rod".

Construction

Parts needed

• 2x TRU RED Quick Dry Gel Pens (body)
• 1x Bic Round Stic Grip (grip part)

Text tutorial

1. Disassemble two TRU RED Quick Dry Gel Stick pens. Remove the ink assemblies and backplugs, keeping the two empty barrels.
2. Remove the rubber grip from a Bic Round Stic Grip pen. This rubber grip supplies the connector.
   

   

   
   
3. Twist the grip into an open end of one TRU RED barrel, leaving enough exposed to fit the second barrel.
   

   

   
   
4. Twist the second barrel onto the exposed grip to join the two halves securely.
