Flex G3 lavable

The Flex G3 lavable is a personal mod made by F1r3fly.

Construction

Parts needed

List from FPSB V3:

• 2x Pilot G3 (front barrel section, cap, 2 tips)
• 1x Reynolds Superlavable (body)
• 1x HGG (grip)
• 1x Uni-Ball Lakubo (grip)
• Decorative grips, including a small Anyball section for the cap

Additional Items

• Tape
• An insert

Text tutorial

Preparation

1. Remove the G3 cap clip.
2. Cut off the G3 barrel’s front section beneath the grip. Keep this front section and file the cut smooth.
3. Cut the G3 grip near the square bumps.
4. Remove the Superlavable backplug. A corkscrew can help pull it out.
5. Add an optional insert to the Superlavable barrel.

Assembly

Front side

1. Fit the retained G3 front section into the rear of the Superlavable barrel.
2. Add decorative grip sections as desired, then fit the Lakubo grip over the joint between the G3 front and Superlavable barrel.
   

   

   
   

Cap side

1. Insert the second G3 tip, HGG grip and a small Anyball grip section into the G3 cap, in that order.
2. Fit the G3 cap onto the front of the Superlavable barrel.
