Everchix Emboss

The Everchix Emboss is a double sided mod made by JEB spinner Everchix.

Construction

Parts needed

• x2 Tsukineko Emboss (body)
• x1 Pilot SuperGrip/Zebra Hyper Jell (grip)
• x2 Zebra Airfit BA-9 (Tips)
• x2 Sailor IC Liquid Gel (grips)
• x1 Pentel Color Twin (barrel)
• x1 Dong-A Computer Sign Pen (barrel)

Preparation

1. Empty both Emboss barrels.
   

   

   
   
2. Working from the rear of each Emboss barrel, cut a 5.7 cm section, followed by a 3.1 cm section. Discard the remaining nib-end section.
   

   

   
   
3. Cut two 2 cm sections of Comssa barrel.
4. Cut a 3 cm section from the front of a Color Twin barrel.
5. Cut three two-ring sections of SuperGrip grip. The older construction uses approximately 3.5 mm Hyper Jell sections instead, as shown in the joint diagram.

Assembly

1. Centre a grip section over each Comssa connector and the Color Twin connector.
2. Join a 3.1 cm Emboss section to a 5.7 cm section using a 2 cm Comssa connector. Repeat for the other pair.
   

   

   
   
3. Join the two 5.7 cm Emboss sections with the 3 cm Color Twin connector. The grip sections cover the three joints.
   

   

   
   
4. Fit an Airfit tip onto each outer 3.1 cm Emboss section and secure it with a Sailor grip.
