Construction

Parts needed

Parts and construction from Penmodding.pm.

• 2x SuperTips (barrels)
• 2x Pilot Opt Shaker (mechanical-pencil version; tips, grips)
• 1x Anyball (grip)

Text tutorial

Preparation

1. Empty both SuperTips barrels.
2. From one barrel, cut a 4 cm rear section and a 4 cm front section, excluding the nib. Keep the other barrel uncut.
3. Cut two two-ring sections of Anyball grip.

Assembly

1. Insert the cut front section into the rear of the uncut barrel. Fit the cut rear section over the front of the uncut barrel.
2. Fit an Anyball section onto each end, covering the barrel joints.
3. Fit an Opt grip onto each end, with its smooth end facing outwards.
4. Insert an Opt mechanical-pencil tip into the exposed end of each Opt grip.
