Akai DC

The Akai DC is a double-sided mod made by VNPS spinner Akai.

Construction

Parts needed

List from Penmodding.pm:

• 2x Pilot G3 (2 metal tips)
• 1x Nitoms Stalogy (1 body)
• 2x Pilot G2 (grips)
• 2x Sailor IC Liquid Gel (Grips)
• 2x Dong-A Computer Sign Pen (2 backplugs)

Text tutorial

1. Disassemble the Nitoms Stalogy completely, keeping its barrel.
   

   

   
   
2. Insert a Comssa backplug into each end of the Stalogy barrel.
   

   

   
   
3. Fit a G2 grip over one backplug, smooth end first.
   

   

   
   
4. Insert a metal G3 tip in reverse orientation into the outer end of the G2 grip.
   

   

   
   
5. Fit the Sailor grip over the G2 grip, leaving five G2 rings visible.
   

   

   
   
6. Repeat at the other end.
