Flush sonic
More actions
Flush sonic is a Sonic variation where it involves the transfer of fingerslots using four fingers in which those at the extremities (most likely 14) solely hold the pen at the same time while one of the fingers in the center are fully retracted and the other is fully extended.
For the normal variation, the middle finger is extended while the ring finger is retracted.
Flush sonic are broad and vaguely defined because they're hybrids of simpler fingerswitch-based and pass-based variations. They range between 1.0 and 2.0 rotations and have different pass-based and fingerswitch mechanics, with the only thing similar all across is the usage of four fingers (variations that use thumb are rarely called flush sonics), the asymmetric center, and the sole possession of the pen at the extremities.
History
It was first done and named by Key3 (JEB) and further popularized by Fratleym (FPSB). The precise year of its discovery is unknown, since Key3 deleted all of his Youtube videos.
Variations
Side Flush Sonic
A variation which combines both flush sonic and side sonic. When doing a flush sonic, and when the mod is in 14, exchange the positions of the middle and ring fingers. That is, the one that is near the palm should go outside it and vice versa.
Flush Pass
A variation which combines both flush sonic and side sonic. When doing a flush sonic, and when the mod is in 14, exchange the positions of the middle and ring fingers. That is, the one that is near the palm should go outside it and vice versa.
