The Pen Spinning Olympics 2026, also known as PSO26, was the fourth Pen Spinning Olympics. Organized by the Pen Spinning Board of Directors, it comprised eight parallel themed competitions, each awarding its own champion. Registration opened on April 28, 2026, and the champions were announced on July 12.[1]
History
PSO26 retained the multi-discipline format of the Pen Spinning Olympics, with separate events for Power, Multipen, Infinity, Technical, Classic, Performance, Freeform, and Spinless. Competitors could enter any number of themes, but every theme followed the same schedule, requiring entrants in multiple events to prepare simultaneous submissions.[2]
The approved field contained 106 unique spinners and 159 category entries across the eight events.[3] DubaiTzuyuCookie67 was the only competitor to win two themes, becoming champion in both Infinity and Technical.[4]

Each theme consisted of two rounds. Round 1 was a qualification round in which all submitted combos received a ranking and comment. The top four in each theme normally advanced, although the organizers reserved the right to adjust the number according to submission volume. Round 2 used the same criteria and ranking system, with more detailed comments for finalists; first place became champion of that theme.[7]
Judging System
Each event used either one or three judges. Judges ranked every submission without ties, and overall placement was determined by adding those ranks, with the lowest sum placing first. When rank sums tied, only the tied competitors' placements were compared: the spinner ranked higher by more judges won the tie-break. Unresolved ties involving three or more competitors could be settled through judge discussion. Judges from the organizing team or other themes could act as reserves if an assigned judge could not submit results on time.[6]
The official judging dashboard listed 12 judges and 278 scored combo entries across both rounds.[8]
Submission Requirements
Most submissions had to last 10–25 seconds from the first trick to the last. Performance entries could last 10–90 seconds for the complete video. Videos had to begin before the first trick and end after the last, without splicing separate recordings or intentionally removing frames. Hands and pen movement had to remain visible with sufficient lighting, resolution, frame rate, stability, and zoom; filters or edits that obstructed judging were prohibited.[7]
Time violations incurred a two-point deduction for every second over or under the limit, rounded up. Late submissions lost one point for every hour past the deadline. Technical-quality and sportsmanship problems could also receive deductions, while severe violations could result in disqualification.[7]

The number in each tab is the number of approved Round 1 entrants in that theme. Because participants could enter multiple themes, these figures total 159 category entries rather than 159 unique people.[3]
The top four competitors in each theme advanced to Round 2. Rankings are ordered by final placement; the number in parentheses is the sum of the judges' rankings.[9]
