Hibachi mod

The Hibachi mod is a single sided mod made by Hibachi. He calls it "Akashiya mod" (あかしやmod).

Construction

List from Hibachi's blog:^[1]

Hollow the Pentel Color Twin cap.
Cut 12.5cm from the back of the Akashiya Fude pen.
(Facultative) Clear the Akashiya Fude pen.
Cut your Pilot G3 cap to 9mm, then 2cm from the first cut
Cut 1.7cm from the front of the Miffy&Melanie.
Cut 2x 2 block of Dong-A Anyball (Colored), 1x 3 block, 1x 6 block, 1x 7 block and 1x 9 block
Cut 2 block of Dong-A Anyball,
cut the Daiso Power clip pen to 9mm
Cut 2 stripes of Pilot SuperGrip grip.
Cut ~1.8/1.9cm of Uni-Ball Lakubo grip from the dimpled part.
Cut a round part of Tombow Reporter 3 grip (unstick it beforehand).
Cut 6mm and 8mm of Zebra Hyper Jell grip.

Fix the Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip in the front of Miffy&Melanie tip part with tape.
Put 2cm of Pilot G3 cap over it and tape it.
Put the package into the Pentel Color Twin cap, use tape to make it stay in place
Add grips in this order: 2 stripes of colored Dong-A Anyball, 7 stripes of Dong-A Anyball, then the cut secion of Uni-Ball Lakubo grip.
Overgrip the Uni-Ball Lakubo grip with 9 block of Dong-A Anyball.
Put the round part of Tombow Reporter 3 inside the cap assembly and glue it (the interior of the cap should not be visible)

Put the Zebra Jell.be tip over the unknown black grip and tape it to the front of the Akashiya barrel.
Add grips in this order: 2 block of Dong-A Anyball, 6mm of Zebra Hyper Jell grip and a whole Pilot G2 grip.
Add 2 block of colored Dong-A Anyball grip, 3 block of black Dong-A Anyball grip, then a whole black Dong-A Anyballgrip
Overgrip the last step in this order: 6 stripes of Dong-A Anyball grip, 9mm of Daiso Power clip pen grip and 8mm of Zebra Hyper Jell grip.
