KAtts Acrylic Bullet Mod

The kAtts Acrylic Bullet mod is a double sided mod made by kAtts which he used in his Pen Spinning World Tournament 2019 participation.

Countrary to what it name implies, the mod does not use Acrylic. It uses polycarbonate.

• x1 Polycarbonate tube (13mm od, 11mm id)
• x2 Pilot Dr. Grip (grip)
• x1 Pilot AirBlanc (Grip)
• x2 Nato bullet 7,62X51mm
• x~6 Dong-A Anyball (Grip) (2 colored one)
• x1 Zebra Hyper Jell (Grip)

Text tutorial

Mise en place

1. Cut your Pilot Dr. Grip grips in 2 ~1.5cm long section.
2. Cut 2x 8 block of Dong-A Anyball grip, 6x 1 block (including 2 colored one), 4x 3 block and 4x 2 block (including 2 colored one).
3. Cut your Polycarbonate tube to 20cm.
4. Cut your Pilot AirBlanc grip to 2x 1cm section.
5. Cut your Zebra Hyper Jell to ~9/10 mm.

Assembly

1. Put the grips in this order: one stripe of Dong-A Anyball grip, then a colored one, then ~1.5cm of Pilot Dr. Grip grip then one block of anyball on the polycarbonate barrel, leave some space to prepare the rest of the gripping.
2. put on the polycarbonate barrel 8 block of Dong-A Anyball grip and fold it on itself from the exterior side.
3. Put 1cm of Pilot AirBlanc grip inside the polycarbonate barrel and put the Nato bullet tip inside it, the airblanc grip should block it. ~10 mm of it should remain visible.
4. Put ~10mm of Zebra Hyper Jell grip, then overgrip it with 3 block of Dong-A Anyball.
5. Unfold the 8 block of Dong-A Anyball grip over the tip part, adjust.
6. Overgrip the 8 block of Dong-A Anyball grip in this order: 2 block of Dong-A Anyball, 2 block of Dong-A Anyball (colored) then 3 block of Dong-A Anyball.
7. (facultative) Add an insert.
8. Repeat on the other side
