Diego 'RPD' González is a spinner from SPSC who gained international recognition for writing the book Pen Spinning History and Notation, making contributions to pen spinning notation and multipen styles, and a long-running competitive spinning career.

Pen Spinning History and Notation

RPD's magnum opus, Pen Spinning History and Notation is a 335-page book that describes pen spinning history up until 2021, as well as compiling all known notation systems and notation-related theories at the time of publishing. It also contains a "Trick Dictionary" that contains almost all known trick variations of the time with pictures and alternative names in other notation systems.

The book took RPD 10 years to write and was originally written in Spanish, then eventually translated to English and French with the assistance of several volunteers.
