The FPSBTD 2018 or French Pen Spinning Board Tournoi Débutant 2018 is the beginner tournament (Tournoi Débutant meaning beginner tournament) of the French board, which was organised by Seoli. Although it was French based, non FPSB members could participate.
In 2018, the FPSBTD began with 4 rounds of Battle Royale, where the participants' objective is to collect as many points from the judges as possible. At the end of the 4th round, the 8 participants with the highest amount of points advance to the next round. From this point onward, the rounds are structured in battles involving two spinners, with the first round of battles being seeded so that the spinner with the most points faces the one with the least.
