First performed by Kam from UPSB, the Spider Spin is a topspin trick where the mod spins on top of the flexed middle and ring fingers. In the original Spider spin, the hand resembles Spiderman’s hand when throwing webs.

Variations
On other fingers
The trick can be performed on other finger combinations. When performed on only the ring finger it was originally named Advanced Spider Spin by Menowa* and sometimes referred to by the abbreviation ASS. Formally the variations are known as: (Fingers Involved) Spider Spin. For example: Index Middle Spider Spin, Ring Spider Spin.
