The Makin KT is a double-sided KT-type mod made by JEB spinner Makin.
Construction
Parts needed
List from Ponkotu's blog[1]:
- 1x Miffy&Melanie (body)
- 2x Pentel Color Twin (2 big caps)
- 2x Dr. Grip (grips and tips)
Additional items
- White tape
- Red tape
Text tutorial
Preparation
- Empty the Miffy&Melanie barrel.
- Cut both Dr. Grip grips in half. Keep one half for each cap.
Assembly[2]
- Fit a Dr. Grip grip half onto a large Color Twin cap, then insert a Dr. Grip tip into the exposed end of the grip.
- Repeat the assembly on the second large cap.
- Fit the prepared caps onto both ends of the Miffy&Melanie barrel.
- Wrap the barrel and cap assemblies with white tape, leaving the cap bases uncovered.
- Cut decorative shapes from red tape and apply them over the white tape.
