The Paper Mod is a personal mod made by UPSB spinner I.suk. It is known for its simple construction and the visual variety it can offer.

Construction

Parts needed

List from I.suk's YouTube Channel:[1]

  • Adhesive contact for covering books (or wrapping paper)
  • 2 Screws
  • 2-3 sheets A4 paper
  • (Double sided tape, clear, tape, black electrical tape)

Text tutorial

  1. Cut 16cm^2 of paper.

  2. Add double sided tape and roll paper tightly.

  3. Cut 23cm from another piece of paper, which gives a 23 x21cm piecce.

  4. Add double sided tape and roll tightly.

  5. It is also recommended to put some double sided tape or sticky tack adhesive putty around screw threads before rolling.

  6. Add remainder of paper which the 16x16cm square was cut from.

  7. Add tape to edge of roll and over scrrews to secure them.

  8. Wrap black electric tape over ends; add adhesive contact, wrapping paper, or printed outsert.

  9. Add more tape over ends if preferred.

  10. Complete.
