The Menowa* Air G3 is a personal mod made by Menowa*. The name isn't official as Menowa* never gave it a name.
Construction
Parts needed
Parts list from Menowa*'s live stream[1]:
- 1x G3 (barrel and grip)
- 1x Uni-Ball Air (cap)
- 1x Muji Hexagonal MP (tip)
- 1x Pilot G2 (barrel and grip)
- 1x Kacogreen (tip and clicker)
- 1x RSVP Stylus (backplug)
- 1x Pilot Hi-Tec-C (tip)
- 1x Pilot Dr. Grip (metal ring)
Additional Items
- Tape
- An insert (or multiple)
Text tutorial
Preparation
- Cut the clip of the Air cap.
- Prepare the G3 barrel, cut before the bump, then sand down the front until it's possible to fit the G2 barrel over it.
- Cut the G2 barrel to 3.2 cm.
- Remove the ball from the RSVP stylus backplug.
- Cut the G2 barrel to 4.6 cm from the screw thread.
Assembly
Front side
- Put the G2 barrel over the front of the G3.
- Put the metal ring of Dr. Grip over the Kacogreen tip.
- Put the Kacogreen inside the G2 barrel.
- Stack the tip on this order: Kacogreen, Hi-Tec-C and RSVP back plug.
- Cover the tip stack and the G2 barrel with a G2 grip (stripe side first).
Cap side
- Put the Muji tip on the Kacogreen clicker.
- Add the G3 grip (stripe side first) onto the clicker, then push it inside the Air cap.
- Connect the Air cap to the G3 body.
