The Lakubo mod is a mod invented by Hong Kong–based spinner Eddie.
The mod was popularized by the easy availability of the parts, being a single cap mod that is neither RSVP- nor G3-based. This mod is called "Lakubo SG" in Japan.

- 1 Pilot Supergel / Neogel(cap)

Text tutorial
- Remove the backplug of the Lakubo pen, take out the inktube and poke a hole into it.
- Put the nib of the inktube in the hole of the backplug (screw back the backplug now if you don't have an insert).
- (Optional) Roll an insert and put it inside the Lakubo, screw back the backplug on the body.
- Add tape on the backplug.
- Remove the Pilot Supergel / Neogel cap and put it on the backplug.
