The GioGear is a Titan Gear type mod invented by Magiai as the cheapest possible variation of the Titan Gear.

Construction

Parts needed

  • 2x Giotto Turbo Maxi (Everything except ink and backplugs)
  • 1x Small plastic tube
    • The non-stretched one used in the tutorial can fit inside a Flexgrip
  • 1x St diameter barrel
    • The original uses an ST cap

Text tutorial

Preparation

  1. Cut 7 mm from the front of the Giotto barrel.
  2. Scrape the interiors of both front parts.
  3. Cut the base of both Giotto caps.
  4. Cut the rest of both Giotto caps to 3cm.
  5. Separate the inner part of the Giotto cap from the outer part.
    1. Can be performed by using a wood carving tool
  6. Cut the inner Giotto cap part at 8mm from the flat part.
  7. Cut 2 O-rings from the plastic tubes
  8. Cut multiple parts of plastic tube and stretch these.
  9. Cut 1 cm of plastic tube.

Assembly



  1. Mount the flat inner part of giotto cap on the Giotto front part.
  2. Put the remaining Giotto cap inner part inside the giotto front.

  3. Put the O-ring on the front Giotto structure.
  4. Put the front structure in upside down in the Giotto front (the part with the body).
  5. Put the Giotto cap over it and add plastic tube to connect it. (tape isn't required) (The plastic tube creates a round edge to keep the inside of the Giotto cap in place)
  6. Repeat on the other cap.
  7. Put 1cm of plastic tube on the ST diameter barrel.
  8. Connect.
