Victor 'VicGotGame' Rodriguez was a competitive pen spinner from UPSB who was one of the strongest technical spinners in the world at his peak in 2011, having become UPSB's strongest spinner by surpassing Eriror in 2010.
He inspired a style of spinning that became known as "Vic-like" spinning due to his release of slow motion footage of tricks and linkages, which became some of the most copied of all time. This led to prodigies such as TheBloodGod0 and MKSFT borrowing heavily from his spinning style and becoming his successors.

VicGotGame was also notable for the slow motion footage that he recorded to assist with teaching pen spinning. His setup was extremely advanced for the time he started in late 2009, capable of shooting 720p HD and high framerate footage for slow motion. This was at a time where a good filming setup would often have a 240p webcam that might not even hit 30fps, and the technology in most widely available camcorders or early smartphones was limited to 360p or 480p 30fps. The videos were filmed with an expensive ($1000+ in 2009) high speed camcorder that would normally have been used for recording sports.
The slow motion videos provided a previously unavailable window into the details of various tricks, particularly power tricks. There were also slow motion videos of several of his linkages and combo breakdowns, which resulted in them being widely copied and adapted, eventually resulting in spinners such as TheBloodGod0 and MKSFT taking heavily after him.
