Text tutorial[2]
This tutorial describes the older Flexgrip Ultra version shown in the source photographs.
- Disassemble two Flexgrip Ultra pens, removing their rear assemblies and ink tubes while retaining the front tips. Remove the grips from two Pilot G2 pens and one Inoxcrom Slickpen.

- Slide a G2 grip over the tip end of each Flexgrip barrel. Face the ridged sections toward the centre and align their inner edges with the last printed band on each barrel.
- Join the rear openings with a brush handle and cover the joint with the Slickpen grip. Banz’s original uses a size 10 / international size 5 pony-hair brush from Lefranc & Bourgeois’s Color & Co range. The source also gives an ink tube as an alternative connector.

- If the internal connector holds both barrels firmly, the source permits removing the centre grip.
