The KiRer Comssa is a double-sided mod made by JEB spinner KiRer. DArKT used it in Pen Spinning World Tournament 2019 in Rounds 1 and 6.
Construction
Parts needed
Parts list from Ponkotu's blog[1]
- 2x Dong-A Computer Sign Pen (1 body, 2 caps)
- 4x Anyball(grips)
- 2x Pilot G2 (grips)
- 1x Pen'z Gear (rings)
- 1x Pentel RSVP (metal nib from the ink tube)
Text tutorial
Preparation
- Empty the Comssa barrel and remove its writing tip.
- Remove the metal nib from an RSVP refill. Insert it into the Comssa writing tip, then refit that tip to the barrel.
- Cut two five-ring, two four-ring, and two seven-ring Anyball sections.
- Separate the ribbed and smooth sections of both G2 grips. Keep the ribbed sections.
Assembly
- Fit a five-ring Anyball section onto one Comssa cap, followed by a ribbed G2 section.
- Insert four Pen’z Gear rings into the part of the G2 grip extending beyond the cap. Tape the rings to the cap first if needed to hold them in position.
- Cover this assembly with a four-ring Anyball section, followed by a seven-ring section.
- Repeat the assembly on the second cap.
- Fit the prepared caps onto both ends of the Comssa barrel.
