The Menowa* G3 is a personal mod made by Menowa*. As he no longer uses it, its name could be translated as "Former G3 2" (昔のG3 2). It was originally named "Current G3" (現行G3).
Construction
Parts needed
Parts list from Menowa*'s Tumblr[1]:
- 1x G3 (barrel)
- 1x Jimnie (cap and grip)
- 1x Zebra Airfit LT Ballpoint (tip and metal ring)
- 1x Pilot G2 (barrel)
- 2x Dong-A Anyball (grip)
- 1x Pilot AirBlanc (tip)
- 1x Pentel Color Twin (barrel)
- 1x Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (tip)
- A small grip
Additional items
- Tape
- An insert (or multiple)
Text tutorial
Preparation
- Cut the clip of the Jimnie cap.
- Prepare the G3 barrel, then sand down the front until it's possible to fit an insert under the G2 barrel when connecting.
- Cut the CT barrel to 3 cm.
- Cut the big ring then 7 blocks of Anyball grip.
- Cut the G2 barrel to 4.6 cm from the screw thread.
Assembly
Front side
- Optional: wrap an insert around the front of the G3 barrel.
- Put the G2 body onto the front of the G3 barrel (screw side first).
- Put the Airfit LT tip inside the G2 body.
- On the G2 barrel, add in this order: the big Anyball ring, an Airfit metal ring, and a whole Anyball grip.
- Add a small grip at the gap between the Airfit LT tip and the Anyball grip.
Cap side
- Stack the HGG tip onto the Airblanc tip, and put the stack into the Jimnie cap.
- Optional: wrap an insert around the CT body.
- Put the CT body inside the Jimnie cap.
- Put the 7 blocks of Anyball grip onto the Jimnie cap.
- Add tape on the G3 body then connect it to the Jimnie cap.
