The FPSBT 2012 or French Pen Spinning Board Tournament 2012 was a tournament hosted by FPSB and organised by Yaemgo. Although it was French based, non-FPSB members could participate.
The tournament had a double elimination format for the first 3 rounds where spinners needed to lose twice in order to be knocked out each round. Upon losing a battle, a spinner from the higher bracket would be knocked down into a lower "Group B" bracket, where they would be eliminated if they lost again. Spinners in the upper bracket after round 2 automatically passed round 3.
Afterwards in round 4 the spinners were placed into 4 groups with the top 2 spinners passing from each group, followed by 3 further single-elimination rounds to reduce the 8 spinners to a single winner of the tournament.
