By June 2008 its public forum had grown to 299 registered members and more than 18,000 posts. Although it was still named a “team,” the forum already served the functions of a national community, with sections for learning, pen modification, trading, videos, battles and tournaments. It also experimented with multilingual discussion in French, English and Dutch.

During 2008, BPST was succeeded by the Belgian Pen Spinning Community (BPSC). The precise launch date is uncertain: later accounts place the public transition in October or November, while archived member records show that the replacement forum existed in some form by June. BPSC eventually used `penspinning-be.com` and presented itself primarily through an English-language interface, while retaining multilingual rules and participation.

BPSC became one of the strongest smaller European boards. Its best team result came in the 2010 Pen Spinning World Cup.
