Vôre-Tèx Emboss

Vôre-Tèx Emboss is a double-sided modification of the Tsukineko Emboss Dual Pen. It is heavier than the standard Emboss Dual Pen mod.

Parts needed

• 2 Pilot Dr. Grip Shaker pens (for their metal rings)
• 2 Tsukineko Emboss Dual Pens (two large caps, two small caps, one barrel and two backplugs)
• 2 Pilot Airblanc grips
• 2 Pilot Juice Up or Uni-ball Impact RT tips; Juice Up tips are used in the latest version
• 2 Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip tips
• Optional: Teflon tape or sticky tack

Follow the annotated construction images below. The HGG and Impact RT tip combination in step 1 is optional.

1. Optional: combine the HGG and Impact RT tips as illustrated.

   

2. Cut the small Emboss caps at the 8 mm mark.

   

3. Cut the tip and cap at the marked points.

   

4. Cut the Emboss barrel at the marked point.

   

5. Scratch the inside of the cap.

   

6. Prepare the two backplugs as illustrated.

   

7. Position the backplugs at the ends of the barrel.

   

8. Check the completed barrel assembly.

   

9. Prepare the tip assemblies as illustrated.

   

10. Assemble the cap components as illustrated.

    

11. Check the cap assemblies before adding the grips.

    

12. Cut an 8 mm ring from the Airblanc grip.

    

13. Arrange the cap and grip components for final assembly.

    

14. Completed mod.
