Nachoaddict’s MP Mod

The Nachoaddict’s MP Mod is a double-sided mod by Nachoaddict, measuring 21 cm with a medium weight.

Construction

Parts needed

• 1 Color Twin / Keycho / Art Color Twin (barrel, small cap, backplug)
• 1 Dong-A Comssa cap
• 1 Pilot Airblanc (all parts except grip)
• 1 Pilot Dr. Grip Shaker (grip and lead tube)
• 1 Anyball, Star Gel Max, or Profile grip
• 1 HGG (tip and backplug)
• 1 Sailor Gel, Gel Wave, Beifa, or Duraflash grip
• 1 RSVP cap

Text tutorial

1. Cut the Airblanc assembly to leave 4 cm of hard plastic with its tip screwed on.
2. Hollow the Dong-A Comssa cap. Add tape to the front of the Airblanc body so it fits snugly, insert the lead tube, and screw the Airblanc tip onto the barrel.
3. Gut the Color Twin barrel. Cut away its front and scrape out the inside; trim the tip portion from its backplug.
4. Add tape to the rear of the Airblanc barrel so it fits the Color Twin body. Join the Dr. Grip lead tube to the Airblanc lead tube with tape.

   

5. Drill the Color Twin small cap so the RSVP cap slides in without rattling.
6. Fit the cap and Airblanc assembly at the front of the Color Twin body, then fit the small cap at the rear. Check that the Dr. Grip lead tube can pass through the backplug and small cap.
7. Build the front grip sequence in this order: Anyball ring, Sailor ring, 1 cm Dr. Grip, Sailor ring, Anyball ring, Sailor ring, then 2 cm Dr. Grip.
8. Add grip to the RSVP cap in this sequence: Anyball ring, Sailor ring, white tape, Sailor ring, Anyball ring.
9. Screw the HGG tip onto the HGG backplug and fit that assembly into the RSVP cap.
10. Trim excess Dr. Grip lead tube by trial fitting until the rear assembly seats at the desired length.
