MinïniM Tulip

The MinïniM Tulip is a double-sided mod by Pain Spleener, made from two Mini RSVP sections joined with a Keytiou Sign pen barrel and fitted with Colorgel tips.

Construction

Parts needed

• 2 Mini RSVP (barrels and grips)
• 2 Colorgel tips
• 2 Anyball grips
• 4 Pilot G2 EX clips/rings
• 1 Keytiou Sign pen barrel

1. Keep the four plastic back rings from the G2 EX pens. Remove or sand down their clips.

2. Sand off the front lip of each Mini RSVP barrel.

3. Fit one G2 EX ring over each RSVP front, small side first. Place the RSVP grip next to the ring with its ring end nearest the RSVP tip, then add the second G2 EX ring.

4. Fit the Anyball grip over the assembled front. If it is too difficult to fit, trim the grip. Add a Colorgel tip to the RSVP grip. Repeat for the second RSVP.

5. Cut the Keytiou barrel 2 cm from the back, then cut a second section at least 1.1 cm long. Choose the section length to set the finished mod’s length and sand both cut ends.

6. Remove each RSVP backcap and file the screw-thread section. Join the two RSVP assemblies with the prepared Keytiou barrel.
