Loser’s Lakubo Jell

The Loser’s Lakubo Jell is a single-sided mod by Loser. Its construction combines a Lakubo body with a Hyper Jell cap, a UM-151 tip, and layered grips.

Construction

Parts needed

• 2 Uni-ball UM-151 tips (Signo, Signo DX, or G3 tips can be substituted)
• 2 Zebra Hyper Jell (one cap and two grips)
• 1 Uni-ball Lakubo (all parts except cap and ink tube)
• 1 Sailor Gel grip (also listed as Gel Wave, Duraflash, Beifa, or Sailor Gel grip)

Text tutorial

1. Trim and file the clip from the Hyper Jell cap, then fit one UM-151 tip inside it.
2. Cut 0.7 cm from one Hyper Jell grip. Keep this short section for the later grip stack and retain the longer part for the cap.
3. Place an outsert around the cut Hyper Jell grip at the bottom of the cap.

4. Put an insert in the Lakubo body and place the cap over the Lakubo backcap.
5. Fit the second UM-151 tip over the Lakubo plastic tip.
6. Cut the second Hyper Jell grip to about 1.3 cm. Cut the Sailor Gel grip into three-stripe and two-stripe sections.
7. On the front, place the saved 0.7 cm Hyper Jell section, the three-stripe Sailor Gel section, the 1.3 cm Hyper Jell section, then the two-stripe section.
