DOmToM’s Mod

dOmToM’s Mod is a pen mod by dOmToM with three versions: Version 1, Light Version, and Ultimate Version.

Versions

Version 1

Parts needed

• 1 RSVP (body and grip)
• 1 Colorgel (metal tip)
• 1 Hyper Jell (cap)
• 1 Hybrid Gel Grip (grip)
• AnyBall grips

Text tutorial

1. At the front of the RSVP body, fit two AnyBall grip bands, the Hybrid Gel Grip grip, two more AnyBall bands, and the Colorgel metal tip, in that order.
2. Put five or six AnyBall bands at the bottom of the Hyper Jell cap with the RSVP grip, then fit the cap onto the rear of the RSVP body.

Light Version

Parts needed

• 1 RSVP (body and a piece of grip)
• 1 Colorgel (metal tip)
• 1 Hyper Jell (cap and grip)
• 1 Hybrid Gel Grip (grip)
• AnyBall grips (placement unspecified)

Text tutorial

1. At the front of the RSVP body, fit a piece of RSVP grip, the Hybrid Gel Grip grip, and the Colorgel metal tip, in that order.
2. At the bottom of the Hyper Jell cap, fit its grip and the remaining RSVP grip, then put the cap on the rear of the RSVP body.

Ultimate Version

Parts needed

• 1 Pilot G-3 (body)
• 1 Signo Broad (tip and grip)
• 1 Hyper Jell (cap)
• 2 Hybrid Gel Grip pens (two grips and two tips)

Text tutorial

1. Remove the G-3 grip. File the squared areas and trim or file the bump below the screw. Fit a Hybrid Gel Grip grip at the front of the G-3, then fit the Signo Broad grip over it. Screw the Signo tip onto the front. Secure a Hybrid Gel Grip tip above the Signo tip with tape or Teflon tape, then fit the grip over that assembly.
2. Wrap the Hybrid Gel Grip tip with enough tape to hold it at the base of the Hyper Jell cap. Wrap tape around the rear of the G-3 body and put the second Hybrid Gel Grip grip inside the cap.
